Chicoreus cornucervi

Attractive specimen found at low tide feeding on mussel beds on muddy reef on the eastern side of Exmouth Gulf.  Brown shell exhibiting the species impressive long dark spines. 

 

Now collected in very limited numbers. Quality shell W/O.
