This volute is from an old collection that was trawled in the Philippines.

A  grey coloured shell with a brown tented pattern covering the specimen with several rows of spikey thorns on the shoulder.

A mature shell with a perfect spire. It has a super thick lip with just a small chip at the very bottom. Graded Fine++
