Notovoluta occidua

In our four campaigns to the Esperance Area we have only found four specimens of this rare and elusive volute. This specimen is a crabbed specimen we collected in May 2022 from 96 metres of water south of Twin Rocks off Esperance. Nice in dorsal display but has a growth break on its labial side above its lip and a sizable chip in its anterior lip.
