Notovoluta gerondiosi "Albino"

We were quite surprised to find this albino gerondiosi crawling across silty sand in 250 metres of water west of south west of Dongara in February 2023. I believe that this is as far south as the species has been recorded. The few specimens we have collected from this location are smaller than the hand full of specimens we have seen collected from farther north.

It has a thick lip and a tiny octopus drill hole in the whorl. The shell has a faint tented pattern covering the white shell.
