This volute is from an old collection that was trawled in the Philippines.

A creamy grey coloured shell with a brown tented pattern covering the specimen with several rows of sharp thorns on the shoulder

The shells spire and lip are both in good condition, graded Fine++ due to a growthy dorsum.
