Endemic murex found at Gantheaume Point at Broome found under low rock ledges feeding on spondylus and chama. The are invariably encrusted in barnacles and are extremely difficult to clean.

Top quality and colour forms are very rare and mostly only available from old collection. I am unaware of any being collected for a long time. W/O.

This specimen is graded fine+++ as there is minor erosions on the lower spire. W/O.
