Crabbed shell ROV collected during April 2024 from 228 metres of water west of Coral Bay. Found scurrying over rocks on silty sand.

This specimen has exceptional colour and shows strongly the classic two radial dashed bands that typify the species.

The shell is free from any notable growth defect and has nice dorsal display. It has a thick lip but unfortunately has a sizable anterior chip.
